We will talk about what it means to be a young, dynamic, Catholic man in today’s world. The overnight retreat will introduce you to John Paul II’s Theology of the Body and what it means for your life!

Tough cultural topics will be discussed in a safe format. Retreat will include talks, small groups, mass, adoration and time for confession.

BRENDAN MCCAULEY

Born and raised in Olympia, WA, Brendan currently resides in Nashville, TN where he is a Theology III teacher at Father Ryan High School, speaker for the Theology of the Body Institute, and REALTOR® brokered by eXp Realty.

He holds a Masters in Theological Studies for Marriage and Family from the Pontifical John Paul II Institute in Washington D.C. and is certified from the Theology of the Body Institute in Quarryville, PA.

For the past five years, Brendan has been giving presentations to all ages on topics related to identity, two of which reached over 100,000 people from 160 countries online.
PETER DE MAIO

Pete is originally from Ventnor, NJ and has been happily married to his high school sweetheart, Tricia, since 2003. They have seven beautiful children, four boys and three girls. He is a very successful businessman and genuinely enjoys Insurance & Financial work having majored in both at Temple University. Tricia is a Villanova Alum, former nurse, and now a stay-at-home mom.

Pete enjoys being a lector and serving at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul in Philadelphia. He was named the President of Pennsylvanians for Human Life, where he has been a speaker and board member since 2008. He serves on the Respect Life Leadership Council for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia as well as the board of Jersey Shore Women’s Center.

Pete is a popular Catholic speaker due to his relatability and has presented on various topics since 2008. Their entire family is active in pro-life witnessing. Together, Pete and Tricia believe that marriage and family are the cornerstone of society. They love teaching The Joy Filled Marriage program through Ascension Press and often are utilized specifically to teach Natural Family Planning. Pete & Tricia have always been Catholic, but they have a beautiful reversion and healing story which they’re extremely willing to share.
REVEREND STEPHEN DELACY

Ordained in 2004, Fr. DeLacy served as parochial vicar of Saints Peter & Paul Parish and as school minister for Archbishop Carroll and Pope John Paul II High Schools before being named to his position as Director of the Philadelphia Archdiocesan Vocation Office in July, 2013. While Director of Vocations he conducted discernment groups, retreats and outreach for men who were discerning God’s call to the priesthood.

In 2021 Archbishop Nelson J. Pérez named Fr. DeLacy Vicar of the newly formed Office for Faith Formation with Youth and Young Adults (OFFYYA). He continues to present at a number of retreats, Forty Hours, etc.
REVEREND DAVID O’BRIEN

Father David O’Brien is a priest for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, currently assigned full-time in the education apostolate. He serves as the director of campus ministry at Lansdale Catholic High School.

After graduating from Bishop Shanahan High School, he entered Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary for formation as a diocesan priest. He spent two years in parish work before beginning to spend the majority of his time working with high school students.

Fr. Dave comes from a big family and was inspired by the life and teachings of Pope John Paul II during his own time as a high school student. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and participating in adventure sports!
