SAMANTHA KELLEY

Sam is the Founder and President of FIERCE Athlete (fierceathlete.org). She has spent the last 10 years working for Catholic nonprofits and outreaching to female athletes. She graduated with a Masters in Catholic Psychology, holds certification in Strength & Conditioning and has extensively studied the Theology of the Body.

It was actually through the teachings of Theology of the Body and the Catholic Church that she has discovered what it means to be both feminine and athletic.

MARIE DiCECCO

After 35 years as a health teacher, Marie DiCecco decided to use her knowledge and talents to educate young women and married couples about the beauty of their bodies and fertility.  After completing an Allied Health program, she is now a trained Naprotechnology specialist and is passionate about educating young females on the beauty of their femininity and their natural ability to bring life into the world.

Marie believes that the foundation of the “feminine genius” – as defined and described so elegantly by Pope St. John Paul II – lies in her capacity to know that she is endowed with specific feminine gifts that encourage her to become the woman she is called by Him to be.

January 19, 2024: Bus to March for Life Washington D.C.

If you’ve never been to the March, it is an experience not to be missed!
If you have marched before, bring a friend who has never enjoyed this incredible witness for life!

The March for Life was initiated as a response to Roe v. Wade and this will be the second March since it was overturned on June 24, 2022. This is a cause for celebration, but there is much work yet to be done. Political leaders in Washington are still doing all they can to promote abortion, including funding Planned Parenthood.

Ride the Bus to the March for Life

The bus is sponsored by St. Peter Respect Life Committee and St. Peter Knights of Columbus Council.

  • Leaving from St. Joseph Church, 338 Manor Ave., Downingtown
  • Depart at 7:00 AM and return at approximately 8:00 PM
  • Cost:  $10
  • Bring a bagged lunch and dinner

We will join with others from the Philadelphia Archdiocese at 10:00 AM for Mass at the Shrine of      the Immaculate Conception.  The bus will then take us into the city for the Rally and March to the Supreme Court.
